hello!
Everything is a story.
I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember. Writing, drawing, painting, photographing, and building visual worlds came long before I had language for design. Alongside my creative work, I maintain a parallel career in the medical field in ophthalmology, a dual path that has shaped how I see, listen, and work with people.
At the core of my practice is storytelling. I’m drawn to understanding what sits beneath the surface. Whether I’m working with a client, a subject, or a concept, I start by digging into the root of what needs to be said. Once the story is clear, the visual direction is revealed.
Photography became a natural extension of that process through years of travel and close attention to human [and nature] experience. That path led me into commercial production, where I worked as Studio Manager for a San Francisco–based commercial studio. In that role, I supported large-scale productions for clients such as Vanity Fair, eBay, and Pottery Barn, to name a few, coordinating logistics, prop sourcing, food styling, and location and talent scouting while working closely with producers, photographers, and directors to ensure each shoot ran smoothly.
I later produced for a commercial photographer, traveling nationwide for hospitality shoots across major hotel brands. The work was detail-driven and exacting, involving shot lists, set readiness, lighting assist, and the many quiet decisions that allow strong imagery to come together.
To deepen my visual practice, I pursued an education in graphic design. Today, I work across graphic design, photography, illustration, and motion, moving fluidly between disciplines depending on what a project calls for. My creative direction lives most fully in my own work and design projects, where I’m often involved in visual curation and creative direction from start to finish.
I value care, craftsmanship, and thoughtful execution in every piece of work.
Let’s create!
